Leadership
The Lake Travis Bar Association offers meaningful opportunities for attorneys to help shape and support the local legal community. Volunteers may serve in leadership roles, assist with committees and programming, develop CLE and networking opportunities, or speak on topics relevant to local attorneys, businesses, and the community. Whether you are interested in governance, education, mentorship, or community engagement, LTBA welcomes attorneys who want to contribute their time, experience, and ideas.
Community Outreach
Volunteers are needed for the monthly legal clinic held on the last Tuesday of each month at Emmaus Catholic Church in Lakeway. The clinic operates through Volunteer Legal Services and serves low-income individuals.
At the clinic, applicants complete an application and meet briefly with a volunteer attorney to discuss their legal issue. Applications are later reviewed by Volunteer Legal Services to determine whether the applicant is eligible for representation. Volunteer attorneys are always appreciated, especially those who practice family law. Free notary services are also available.
