The Lake Travis Bar Association was formed in 2025 as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit professional organization for attorneys and law students. Its mission is to enhance the legal profession in the Lake Travis community by providing local support and resources to attorneys living or working in the area.

Committees
The LTBA is seeking volunteers for various committees. In addition to the Launch Committee, the Board anticipates initially establishing committees for Membership, Events, Continuing Legal Education, and Community Service.
Launch Committee
The Launch Committee is a short-term committee responsible for establishing the initial outreach and member engagement during its first phase of growth. Committee members assist with building local awareness, welcoming attorneys into the organization, and supporting early events. The current committee members are:
